Social Media
Social media is a massive part of the world today, people use it in both their personal and business life. There is a common misconception that marketing should be aimed at a business platform for business rather than personal.
However, regardless people are engaging and spending time on these platforms. Does a business owner suddenly not care about their business just because they are spending some down time on Facebook or another platform?
Platforms
With so many social platforms it’s confusing to know where to focus your efforts and marketing spend. We work with clients to understand their ideal customers and the best way to reach them in the places that they are spending their time.
Why
As a result of the amount on information people divulge online, both on social media and through their own browsing habits, internet and social media companies know a great deal about everyone on the internet.
Targeting
The information that these companies hold on individuals means that campaigns can be very targeted based on interests, demographics and specific websites or products they have viewed or engaged with in some way. As an example you may wish to target affluent individuals, individuals of a certain age, people moving home or perhaps couples that recently got engaged, males, females or both depending on your product or service.
Why choose us
We work in true partnership being accountable for everything we do. We do not believe in making things sticky for customers or hiding behind contracts, we simply want a relationship that works both ways. If we do not deliver then why should you be held to a contract? We are a monthly pay as you go service that you can turn off, on or scale both up or down at a moment’s notice.
Got questions?
Obviously having 100’s or maybe 1000’s of people liking your business page is positive as it shows others you have an interested audience (depending on how these were acquired of course). However today it is not as important as you might think. Social platforms have evolved now, as was inevitably the plan all along. From a business perspective if you are not paying they are not showing your content (not in a meaningful way anyway). However tap into their Ad tools and you can reach a highly targeted audience, whether they like you page or not.
We hear this all the time, after all Facebook and other social platforms are for people at home in their spare time aren’t they? Being on social media is always good for any business, all your target audience, key decision makers also have a social life and are on these platforms too. If your targeting is done correctly and your offering is relevant then why would a business owner or key decision maker not be interested just because they are not at work.
Both have their place in any business, however there is a key difference in the role they will play for you in attracting new business. We would suggest there are two key different approaches to marketing; educational and selling. Social platforms are a great cost effective way to educate an audience, they may not be actively looking for your services, but through targeting you know they are likely to be interested. However, Google Ads is about finding people that are searching to buy your services now or are at least in the research stages.
